Samsung Release First Update For Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5 With August 2023 Security Patch

Samsung has rolled out its August 2023 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 devices. Both of the devices are getting their very first update. Last month, the brand launched these devices at an unpacked event in Seoul, Korea. The update will improve the security and privacy of the device and will also improve minor functionality of the device.

The update has arrived with its own identification build number. The firmware code for Galaxy Z Fold 5 is F946USQS1AWH3 version, and for Galaxy Z Flip 5, the version is F731USQS1AWH3. At the moment, Verizon released this update in the US for locked variants. It will soon be available to all the regions.

This August 2023 security update brings improvements in system security, so now the users will get extra safety and privacy compared to its previous version and an enhanced secured experience. It also increases the stability and reliability of the device.

In this update, approx 80 patches of security vulnerabilities get fixed, out of which 52 patches are fixed by Google and the others get fixed by Samsung, which is acceptable for all the Galaxy devices. Apart from this, all the general bugs and known issues get solved with it, which were present in the previous version.

However, nothing significant has arrived with this August 2023 security update; for instance, new features or changes. But because all the known troubles and security vulnerabilities get resolved, this might lead to a better and flawless performance, which will enhance the user’s experience.
