Samsung has already started providing its August 2023 security update to its Galaxy devices. At the moment, it picked its latest foldable flagship device, which is obviously Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. The company launched this phone only last month, and now it has got its first update. Both the device received the update already in the US.
The latest update has arrived with its own identification build number for Galaxy Z Flip 5. The code is F731BXXS1AWH3 which is rolling in Spain. On the other hand, the firmware version code for Galaxy Z Fold 5 is F946BXXS1AWH3, available in Germany.
Since it is an August 2023 security update, then it is obvious that it will improve the system security. So now the users will get more modern safety and privacy techniques with enhanced secured experience as compared to its previous version.
With this latest update, approximately 80 patches of security vulnerability get fixed, of which Google contributed 52 patches, and the rest of the others get selected by Samsung. Alongside, all the general bugs and known issues also get solved, which were spotted in its previous version that can be unfavourable to the system’s security and privacy.
However, it doesn’t bring any new features or changes. But the system security, along with the stability and reliability of the device, gets increased.
