Nothing OS 2.0 New Features For Phone (1)

Nothing is ready to launch its Nothing OS 2.0 version update for the Nothing Phone (1), which has brought many new changes and features per the users’ convenience for enhancing their experience. However, the notable point is that some users get the latest beta update with the firmware build code Nothing OS 2.0.2 in their phone (1), but the company has not rolled it out officially. 

If the news is to be believed, a post on X (Tweeter) by Carl Pei indicates that the company has started its internal testing for Nothing OS 2.0 for Phone (1), but the official is yet to be announced. 

What’s New In Nothing OS 2.0.2 For Nothing Phone (1) – 

However, the company did not release this version’s beta update officially yet, but some of the users have already installed it at their own risk. But it has brought a lot of new changes and improvements for enhancing the device performance as per the requirements of the users. So let’s take a look at its unique features. 

The lock screen customization got improved with this update, and now the users are eligible to add shortcuts and able to add up to eight shortcuts on their lock screen. Along with this color aggregation; for instance, if the users add a Wi-Fi shortcut to their lock while turning it on, the tile appears red, and turning it off, it changes into white.  

Now the users can also change the lock screen settings. They can select up to eight widgets from widget options, but the condition is only smaller ones. If the users choose any more significant device that consumes the space of two smaller or more sizes, it will take up the entire length of small widgets on the lock screen and arrange according to it. 

Now, users can keep their home screen minimalistic with multiple widgets and enlarge the app icon. The volume slider is also redesigned. Now it will appear in dotted lines along with the brightness slider. More wallpaper and launcher settings were added, and the quick panel was improved with this update.
