Musk Decides To Hide Headlines From News Articles

Elon Musk has been making big decisions for the last few days. First, he blew the iconic blue bird from Twitter, and now he has removed headlines from news articles. Due to this change now on the platform, whatever news articles will be shared can’t be able to display the headlines.

Musk said in his recent tweet;

“If you’re a journalist who wants more freedom to write and a higher income, then publish directly on this platform!”

This means that in the future, a journalist should directly post their news articles, which only include the lead image and a web link on X without mentioning any headlines.

X is one of the most popular social media platforms that allows users to share their thoughts. But now, with this recent change, the publisher on the app will get more freedom to write, notably with higher income.

Musk stated that if the publisher wants to earn a higher income, they must post directly on this platform. The reason behind removing the headline is that it will also release some space on the timeline and reduce vertical space, allowing users to view more news articles or posts inside the timeline.

Apart from this, in another tweet posted by Musk on Sunday, stated that there are no great social media platforms right now, and as per the prediction of the fans community, the brand might fail to create X. However, they still try their best to make sure there is at least one great social media network.

“We may fail, as so many have predicted, but we will try our best to make there be at least one,” Musk said in his tweet on Sunday.
