Recently Xiaomi has announced that its latest flagship, the Redmi K60 Extreme, which has Android 13 based MIUI 14 out of the box, will be getting 4 major OS updates, which means the device will get its update until Android 17, 2027.
On the other hand, the Redmi K60 Extreme will receive 5 years of security updates which means that the smartphone will be getting its security patches till 2028. Meanwhile, since the device is not yet launched in India, this flagship smartphone will likely be named Xiaomi 13T Pro.
