OnePlus offers lots of outstanding features for its smartphone to provide a greater interface, one of them is the Hide app feature. The feature allows you to hide your important apps like payment apps, WhatsApp, and other important applications.
OnePlus brought many changes in its features with OxygenOS 13.1. The company has completely changed the Hide App functionality with each OxygenOS version. This article will explain how you can hide apps on OxygenOS 13.1 and access them when needed.
OxygenOS Hide Apps:
In the previous OxygenOS interface, you can hide apps and access them with a simple swipe from the left edge of the screen in the app drawer. The Hidden space protest by the passcode or a pin.
OxygenOS 13.1 Hide Apps:
Now, with OxygenOS 13.1, when “Hide apps” is set, apps you hide will no longer appear on the Home screen, in the notification drawer, or in the recent apps menu. You can access hidden apps by entering the access code on the dial pad in the Phone app.
The OxygenOS 13.1 comes with multiple privacy-oriented features such as Hidden apps, Private Safe, and App Locker. The Hidden space feature has been upgraded to better protect your privacy with the access code and privacy password.
How To Hide Apps In OxygenOS 12.1:
- Go to Settings on your device
- Scroll down and tap on Privacy
- Tap on Hiding apps
- Tap on Set up
- Choose apps that you want in the Hidden space.
- From here, verify your identity and set up a privacy password and access code for accessing hidden apps.
Once you are done, your important apps are hidden on the Home screen icon, Notifications, and don’t show in the recent tasks.
How To Access Apps In OxygenOS 12.1:
- Launch the Phone App
- Enter the Access Code Ex #0000#
- Now, you enter the Hidden apps
How To Remove Apps On Hidden Space:
- Navigation to the device’s Settings
- Find and tap on the Privacy
- Tap on the Hide apps
- Enter privacy password
- Tap on the Hidden
Turn OFF toggle to remove apps from the Hidden space.
