WhatsApp Rolling Out New ‘Advanced Search Filters’ Feature For Channels

WhatsApp always carries on trying to provide lots of strengthening features to improve the user’s seamless experience. Keeping in mind their convenience, it is now introducing a new feature named ‘Advanced search filters’ with the latest update. Notably, the quality is available for both iOS and Android devices, and you can also get this new feature by installing the update.

WhatsApp is taking its steps forward by introducing new features and enhancements for channels, the latest broadcast transmission tool that permits everyone to receive updates from anyone they want. However, this feature, for now, is available only in a few countries. Also, WhatsApp now aspires to make sure that users can explore new channels without even telling them to display their information.

WhatsApp has now replaced the filter button from the channels screen with the latest feature, offering users an advanced search experience. With this new feature, the users can now filter channels to show only those from their own country. Users can also filter the results by displaying only the most active, popular, and newest channels. The last two filters were already available, but now, with the latest update, they are more accessible.

All of these new filters, while exploring new channels, will enhance the user’s experience and help the users find and access channels easily and quickly that better interest them, deleting the need for the users to have particular information. However, the most notable point is that WhatsApp channels are available only in 9 countries: Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Singapore, and Ukraine. Also, there has yet to be an official announcement when the company will widely release this facility in additional countries.

Moreover, the advanced search filters feature is only available to a few users who install the latest update of WhatsApp. The iOS owners can get the update through the App Store, whereas the Android owners can from the Play Store. It is expected to be available to all in the coming days.
