Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ & S7 Receive One UI 5.1.1 Update

Samsung has already started rolling out its One UI 5.1.1 update, which brings lots of new features and improvements for enhancing the device’s functionality performance. Luckily, the brand chose Galaxy Tab S7, Galaxy Tab S7+ and Galaxy Tab S8+ devices. The update is rolling out in the US for Verizon carriers.

The brand has released its new UI update with numerous new features and enhancements to multiple corners of the devices, which include Multi-Window, Taskbar, Gallery, Samsung Health, Quick Share, Device Care, Mobile Hotspot, and Bluetooth. With the new UI update, the arrangement on the Recents screen has improved. Now, the users can quickly launch Multi-Window or pop-up view along with drag and drop windows. Plus, the two-handed drag-and-drop functionality is also added with the update. The Taskbar is now able to show up to 4 recent apps. Another change has occurred in Gallery, by which the users get the ability to add more date and time styles for watermarks, copy and paste effects get improved. The users can add a focus view to highlight individuals. 

Another change has occurred in Quick Share; a new feature, Private Sharing, has arrived with the update, which helps set time limits. Also, the users can quickly find their contacts and share files with the help of the Share option. Samsung Health offers upgraded sleep management, for instance, Sleep Score Factors, Sleep Consistency, and Sleep Animal Symbols. Device Care, Hotspot, and Bluetooth functionality also get enhanced with new UI updates.

The owners of the Galaxy Tab S7 series can identify the latest One UI 5.1.1 update with the firmware version number T*78USQU5DWH3, whereas, for Galaxy Tab S8+ 5G, the firmware build is X808USQU4BWH6.
