Threads Introducing New Keyword Search In Most English And Spanish-Speaking Countries

Meta’s new platform, Threads, is getting a new update. Yes! The same app had 5 million downloads within 4 hours of its launch. However, the brand had launched it with limited features and was assured that in the future update, more features will be added as per convenience. With a new update, it is catching a new search feature that will be accessible in most English and Spanish-speaking countries.

Meta-owned Threads app is lengthening the ability to search for keywords and topics in various countries, which includes the United States, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Mexico, and other countries that used to speak English and Spanish.

Notably, this feature took the floor within the week after the brand started testing for this feature in Australia and New Zealand. Before using keywords, the search option was strictly limited to looking up other user accounts. It may be because it is a branch of Instagram, a place where photo caption text search is not in high demand.

A post on Threads shared by Zuckerberg stated that there is “more to come soon,” which means more countries will receive access to Threads keyword searches. Moreover, due to the latest regulation around user data protection from online services, Meta is walking along a thin wire in the EU. Without moving a muscle, Threads devices continued building its stage, which was earlier called the second copy of Twitter by the user community.

Since its launch, it has rolled out many new and exciting features and improvements, along with access to the web and more. At the moment, it has rolled out this new keyword search feature. It is expected that it will offer similar great features in the future.
