How Many Software Updates Will Realme C67 5G Get?

With every new smartphone comes an array of some of the of the most prominent features and specifications. With that, while purchasing a new device, it’s equally essential that people check the software update policy of the phone. Simultaneously, every smartphone manufacturer offers a unique software update policy, and Realme is no different. In contrast, it’s been a while since Realme has introduced the Realme C67 5G, and you must be wondering how many updates the device will get.

Realme’s C lineup is considered to feature some budget-focused smartphones, while the C67 falls into the same category. Although Realme does follow its software update policy when providing updates to its devices, it doesn’t have any significant policy for its budget-focused models, which means the brand does not offer long-term software support for its affordable category phones.

Realme C67 to Get 2 Major OS and 3 year of security Updates:

In contrast, according to the software update policy, Realme has promised to offer two generations of OS update support. Similarly, the Realme C67 5G is committed to getting 2 generations of major OS updates and 3 years of security patch updates, respectively. Since the device is launched with Android 13-based UI 4.0 out of the box, it is eligible to receive its major OS updates until Android 15, while it will get its security patches until 2027.

It’s highly disappointing that Realme offers the least amount of software updates to its devices, while several other brands have significantly upgraded their software update policies, offering long-term updates to their devices. Well, it’s expected that Realme could consider upgrading its software update policy and might offer long-term OS update support to its devices.
