What’s New Is Arriving in Android Auto
Google is offering a few new Android Auto applications, in which the Weather Channel is the main and most convenient feature. It has over 100 million downloads on the Play Store, which is a huge number and makes it one of the world’s most popular online weather services.
Android Auto Weather Channel:
With the addition of the Weather Channel in Android Auto, users will get the facility to navigate through changing weather conditions. This app helps the users by alerting them for unexpected weather changes, for instance, rainstorms, instant snowfall and more, which could create trouble in their journey. Now, while driving, the users also get hourly forecasts, follow-me alerting, and Trip View radar, which helps them be aware of the ahead weather conditions.
Android Auto Zoom, Prime Video, and WebEx by Cisco:
Besides the Weather Channel, Google also adds Zoom, Prime Video, and WebEx by Cisco to Android Auto. With these new applications, the users; drive will become more homely. Through the addition of Zoom, the users get the ability to join scheduled meetings on the fly. Noticeably, these will be audio-only meetings, so they do not get distracted by a video feed while driving.
Android Auto Amazon Prime Video:
The next addition is Amazon Prime Video. The application, for now, is only available for selected brands to follow, which includes Renault, Polestar, and Volvo Cars. The users can watch Prime Video while their cars are stationary or parked. The brand in the US, Canada, and Korea is also rolling out digital car keys to support European countries. Digital car keys permit Android Auto Users to unlock, lock, and start their cars with their phones.
