This feature allows the users to use their biometric information, for instance, fingerprint, face, or even screen lock, to verify user identity. Noticeably, the passkey will always get stored in a password manager safely, such as Google Password Manager. With this feature, the users will get more protection to permit users to sign into their accounts easily and safely.

However, the feature is rolling out slowly to more users, but the users can check if the feature is available for their WhatsApp account by just following the steps mentioned here; just open WhatsApp navigation Settings >> Account. In this section, a new entry point to configure the user’s passkey may be available once the app gets upgraded with the latest update.
