iMessage Now Show Rich Post Link Previews For Threads

Meta-owned Threads is getting new support for rich link previews on Apple iMessage. So now, the users of Apple iMessage get an enhanced experience through rich link previews in their messages app. This new support provides a glimpse of the content posted on Threads without leaving the chat to the users.

In plain words, now, if the users share a link with the help of iMessage, then chat bubbles easily and quickly display the text of content inline, with the avatar and username of the post owner. And this convenient feature is made workable using the standard meta tag immersed in the post’s HTML code.

It seems like Apple has confessed Threads as a permitted social media platform and accepted a list to authorize this convenient facility on iMessages for the user’s enhanced experience.

However, the brand Apple has yet to have an official account on Threads as a company’s presence. Meanwhile, Apple Music and Apple News both have made their existence on Threads but haven’t posted anything yet.

This latest feature of link previews for Threads posts on iMessage offers more convenience and enhancement to the users, especially for those who are devoted fans of both the social media platform. This will help the users stay updated with Threads’ contents without interruption or disturbance in their conversations because they don’t need to switch apps.

Apple has correspondingly jumped on the drive to give Apple users an ordinary and enhanced experience on the upstart contenders. Apple offers the threads support to its users, but before this, it announced the iMessage Mastodon merger in February.
