One UI 6.0 Beta 2 Update Rolls Out For Galaxy S22

Recently, Samsung announced the One UI 6.0 Beta program for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Flip 5, which comes with lots of new features and improvements alongside the October 2023 security update. Now, the Korean tech giant announced the One UI 6.0 Beta 2 update for Galaxy S22, which fixes some issues and delivers a seamless experience.

According to the information, Samsung Galaxy S22 has started receiving One UI 6.0 Beta 2 update in the UK. Along with fixing various issues faced by customers in previous beta builds the company has also started pushing the October 2023 Android security patch update to devices.

The latest One UI beta update comes with build version S90*BXXU6ZWJ3, and the update package size is 1366.54. To install it, you will have to go to Settings on your phone, followed by the Software update and Download and Install options.

According to the official changelog, Samsung has fixed the issue with icons disappearing for the Galaxy S22 when changing the home layout without using the gesture prompt. Additionally, it also fixed the issue of icons not appearing or quick panels not being touched in certain situations.

Apart from these, the Korean tech has also upgraded a bunch of One UI stock applications to enhance the overall device performance. However, this latest version of One UI 6.0 allows users to choose which apps they want to upgrade.

Bugs that have been fixed:

  • Improved icon disappearance when changing the Home layout while using no gesture hint
  • Improved the issue of not seeing icons or not touching the Quick panel in specific situations 
  • Improved app crashes such as Smart Surge, Launcher, camera, etc. 
  • Applied Google stabilization code
  • Applied the latest security patch
