OnePlus 11 Receives OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 Build With Stability Improvements

OnePlus has so far released two open beta builds of Android 14 for its flagship OnePlus 11. The first open beta release was released to users in September, giving them the opportunity to try out the updated software before the stable rollout. The second Android 14 beta build was rolled out to the device the following month, bringing several bug fixes and optimizations. Now, OnePlus is releasing OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 11 and the latest release brings some stability improvements.

According to the OnePlus community forums, the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 11 brings some of the most common issues and stability improvements. This latest beta update for the OnePlus 11 fixes an issue where some third-party paid apps may not function properly and where you may be unable to share photos from an album to the app you select.

Moving forward, this update also extends battery life in certain scenarios and improves system stability and performance. Additionally, OnePlus has provided a list of known issues in the latest release. See the section below for the changelog and known issues.

Known issues:

  • Stacking issue of music sound connecting wired headphones when taking photos.
  • “The system desktop has stopped running” error while setting third-party fonts.
  • The screen flashes when swiping the navigation bar to switch apps.
  • Directly back to the desktop when swiping up to exit the cards in Shelf.
  • Dark mode does not work on the Play Store page.
  • The incoming call notification banner does not show on the desktop.
  • “The system interface irresponsible” error while using the Play Store.

  • Fixes an issue where some third-party payment apps might not work properly.
  • Fixes an issue where you might be unable to share photos from an album to the app you select.

If you wish to try out OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 3 on your OnePlus 11 despite the aforementioned issues, you’ll have to update your device to the latest OxygenOS 13 release (CPH2447_13.1.0.591(EX01) and CPH2447_13.1.0.595(EX01)). You can then follow the firmware update path from the link provided here and flash it by following the instructions highlighted in the announcement post.

Those who have already installed OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 on their devices should receive an OTA update for the latest release in the coming days. OnePlus has also provided rollback packages to make it easy for users to downgrade to OxygenOS 13.
