Oppo debuted its OPPO Reno10 5G device a couple of months ago, based on Android 13. The brand introduced this device with lots of new and advanced features. To upgrade the functionality and performance of the device, the company decided to provide Android 14-based ColorOS 14. Within a few months after launching, the device is getting a first major update as the company starts rolling out the ColorOS 14 Open Beta Test program.

Oppo started the Android 14-based ColorOS 14 Open beta test for the Oppo Reno10 5G device. For now, the company has only started this testing program in India, and it is expected that soon, this update will be available in all regions.

But if the owners of Oppo Reno10 5G devices are interested in testing this open beta update, they have to hurry up because the company set the limit for the members, which is 5000, so only 5000 members will get the chance to beta test Android 14 on their devices. In this scenario, the users are not eligible for this recruitment, and they just don’t have to worry about it because the company will offer more opportunities in the future.

The owners of the Oppo Reno10 5G can enrol for testing the Android 14 x ColorOS Open Beta Test. The company started this program from October 27 to November 01, so the users must submit their application during this time. As mentioned above, the quota for the program is only 5000 users.

Noticeably, the users must make sure that their device is upgraded to the detectable software version, which is CPH2531_13.1.1.501(EX01).

However, for now, the update is in the developing stage, so it’s pretty obvious that the update may include some known issues or bugs. There are a few known issues spotted in this update, such as the music output card in the control centre disappearing on its own or being manually closed, and the second one regarding charging animation disappearing and not being displayed again.
