WhatsApp To Add New Icons For Chat Attachment Menu

WhatsApp is planning something new to enhance the iOS users’ experience. Yes! WhatsApp is back with a new update, but this time for iOS users. With this update, the brand offers a new feature by introducing a new icon for the chat attachment view. Let’s take a closer look at this new update. 

WhatsApp is rolling out a new beta update, which has arrived with its identification build number, v23.24.10.70, so interested ones can easily find the update with this version number. With this update, the brand is delivering a new feature named – new icons for chat attachment view. The update is in the developing stage and only available for some of the lucky iOS beta testers. Interested ones can easily get the update through the TestFlight beta Program. 

With this update, WhatsApp is redesigning some icons in the chat attachment view to enhance the user’s experience at their convenience. The introduction of the new icons representing multiple features like image sharing, contacts, documents, and the camera is probably due to current interface changes to the application interface, which involved brand new colors. 

With this update, the users will see a primary change in the color shades of icons. Currently, the camera icon appears in pink, but with this update, it will appear in white. The photo icon is a dark or vibrant blue, but it will turn bluish after the upgrade. 

Once the users upgrade their WhatsApp account with this update, they will get a revamped chat attachment menu by upgrading its icons to reflect a specific approach to refining the user interface. However, as mentioned above, at the moment, the feature is still in the developing stage and only available for beta testers. It is also expected that soon, the brand will roll out this update widely.
