After tons of leaks and rumours regarding key specifications, features, design, and launch date of the OnePlus 12, the brand itself finally confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will take the floor in China on 4th December on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of ‘OnePlus’. OnePlus confirmed the launch date through its Weibo handle. However, there are no reports of when the brand will debut the OnePlus Ace 3.
OnePlus 12 Expected Key Specifications
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 12 rear camera setup will feature the LYT-T808 main camera sensor and the HyperTone camera optimizations. At the same time, the primary camera will be coupled with a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the opposite side, the selfie camera is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
If the reports are to be believed, the OnePlus 12 will feature a 6.82-inch BOE X1 OLED display along with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 2K resolution. It is expected that it will run on Android 14-based ColorOS 14 out of the box. The memory package may include 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is also expected that the brand will be powered by a 5,400mAh battery and the support of 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
OnePlus already confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus 12, which is on 4th December, but here the catch is the brand will introduce the OnePlus 12 in China region. However, it is expected that OnePlus 12 will be heading to the global tech market in January 2024.
