WhatsApp is rolling out a new update to enhance the iOS users’ experience. With this update, the company is offering two new shortcuts for locking the chats quickly without even much effort.
The update has arrived with its own identification build number, which is v23.24.10.78, so the users can easily identify the update with this version number.
For now, the update is in the developing stage and only available for some of the lucky beta testers, but it is expected that soon the brand will roll out this update to all widely.
Interested iOS users can easily get this update through the TestFlight beta Program.
By this update, the company is offering the ability for users to get access to a new shortcut that permits them to quickly lock chats directly from the chat list. The users can check if this shortcut is already available to their account in their chat options.
The company is improving the locking process with this dedicated toggle within the chat information screen. Previously, the users had to navigate through a separate section within chat information to enable chat locks.
Fortunately, with this new update, the process is more efficient with the dedicated toggle. So now, the users can easily and quickly lock their chats. This feature will surely enhance the users’ privacy.
As mentioned above, the update is in the beta stage and available for beta testers. But soon, it will be available to all.
