Google Workspace Update Now Allows Enable To “Profile Discovery”

  • Admin can customise their profile across the profile discovery.
  • The feature also has the option to disable it by default.
  • It helps to hide and unhide basic information

There is a new update on Google Workspace. You can see the change in the user interface, which is the profile discovery. Now, the admin can customise their profile across the profile discovery. This shows the users how their profile pictures and contact details can appear in the search results with the option of personalisation, which is open to open beta.

Steps To Follow :

  • The first step is to Go to 
  • There, you will have the option of Personal Info. Click on that 
  • Click on the option of Your Profiles 
  • Click on the option to manage your profile discovery settings. 

Since the option is available in the open beta, no additional signup is required. The basic information of the admin will be shared, which will help the people to recognise and after the first stage of interaction, the user will see the full name, profile picture and more information from the Google account. 

This feature will enable a seamless transition and maximum visibility starting December 12. The feature also has the option to disable it by default, but the administrator has the option to enable it at the domain, organisational unit (OU).
