WhatsApp Is Gearing Up on Permitting Businesses To Subscribe To Meta Verified

WhatsApp is enhancing the Android users’ experience by delivering a new feature named Meta Verified. WhatsApp is rolling out a new beta update, in which it is permitting businesses to subscribe to Meta Verified. However, for now, the feature is in the developing stage and only available for some of the lucky beta testers, but it is expected that soon the brand will make this feature available to all. The update has arrived with its own identification build number, which is v2.24.1.21. Since the update has arrived in the beta stage, interested users can easily get it through the Google Play Beta Program.

With this update, the brand is delivering new settings that will be available within the application settings, permitting businesses to subscribe to Meta Verified and build trust with their customers by displaying a verified badge. Noticeably, this new subscription will replace WhatsApp Premium, the previous subscription, which included a custom business link and the ability to link up to 10 devices.

However, it’s worth noting that these two features will still be included in the Meta Verified subscription. Apart from all this, another notable fact to mention is that the Meta Verified subscription will be optional and exclusively accessible to businesses.

However, since the verified badge is designed to distinguish authorized channels from potential impersonators, businesses subscribing to Meta Verified will also see the verified badge prominently displayed on their business profile to assert their legitimacy, as announced by Mark Zuckerberg itself.

For now, the Meta Verified Subscription for Businesses feature is in the developing stage, and it is expected that soon the brand will make this feature widely available. Until then, interested parties can easily get this feature through the Google Play Beta Program.
