Google Will Launch A New Circle To Search Feature On January 31st For Some Selected Android Devices

  • Google confirmed a new Circle to Search feature to launch on January 31st for some selected Android devices.
  • This new feature will allow you to search for anything you like using some simple gestures without switching apps.
  • Android devices, including the Google Pixel 8, 8 Pro, and the new Galaxy S24 series, will only receive the new feature.

Since the beginning, Google has always focused on offering the most advanced and useful capabilities in order to help users quickly connect to the desired information that they are searching for. With the latest advancements, Google is helping people get even closer to their search and get results in just a few seconds, which is insane. At the same time, Google has announced that a new Circle to Search feature is coming, especially for some selected premium smartphones, in order to make your search more simple and quick.

Google is rolling out a new Circle to Search feature, which is the newest method, allowing people to search for anything and everything on their smartphone using some simple gestures without having to switch apps. Generally, Google is making the searching process even more convenient and easier.

At the same time, it’s perfectly alright to search for something that you like while scrolling through Google or any other application, whether it’s a bracelet or anything else, and for that, you need to switch the app in order to search for the same thing, but it can become very annoying and disruptive to stop scrolling and switch to another application to see the more detailed information. In contrast, Google has introduced a new Circle to Search feature, which will allow users to quickly search for their desired thing without even switching applications.

Moreover, beginning on January 31st, using some simple gestures, you can select the thing for which you are curious to know all the details, resulting in getting more details at the moment on the same application where you currently are. These gestures mainly include making a circle, highlighting it, tapping over it, or scribbling it. You can easily activate the Circle to Search feature by long-pressing on the home screen or on the navigation bar.

For example, while scrolling Reels on Instagram, you came across a nice outfit and wanted to know where you could get this latest outfit, so you just need to long press on the Home Screen of your Android smartphone in order to activate the Circle to Search feature, and once activated, perform either of the gestures mentioned above, like making a circle over the entire outfit of the person in the video, and you will quickly get similar results for that particular time that you have selected.

It’s noteworthy that the new Circle to Search will be launched by Google on January 31st only on some selected premium Android smartphones, including the Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S24 Series. The feature will be available in all languages and locations. In contrast, Google might roll out the latest Circle to Search feature for other Android smartphones in the premium or flagship segment in the coming future.
