It looks like the MPG 272QPX is the first gaming monitor to debut with a large 27-inch IPS LCD panel with a fast refresh rate of about 500Hz, which is impressive!

As showcased at the CES event, the new MPG 272QPX features a large 27-inch IPS LCD screen with 2560 x 1440 resolutions. Sporting a fast responsive technology, this gaming monitor comes with a fast refresh rate of about 500Hz, making the device compatible with other systems like Nvidia and AMD, respectively.
The monitor comes with a 4-way adjustable stand with a nice ergonomic design that has a slight tilt, height, swivel, and the rotation adjustments respectively. In the meantime, this gaming monitor has 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, and 1x USB type-C connectivity support with 2x USB 3.0 data ports. It even supports DisplayPort Alt Mode with 90W power delivery support.
Other distinctive features include its Full array local dimming (FALD) that sports 1,152 Mini LED backlights, while the display can produce up to 1,000 nits peak brightness in the HDR mode, resulting in some stunning HDR performance and dimming capabilities.
