Similarly, its most recent launch, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, is committed to receiving three major OS updates and four years of security patch updates.

Since launching with the Android 13-based MIUI 14 operating system out of the box, the device will receive its 3 major OS updates until Android 16, while on the flip side, the phone is eligible to receive 4 years of security patches until 2028, respectively. Although the phone was launched with the MIUI 14 Android skin, it’s still been confirmed that the device will get the latest Xiaomi HyperOS update.
