Realme’s New “AIGC Elimination” Feature: Here’s How Does It Work?

With several advancements within the technology field, several smartphone brands, including Realme, are working on offering some of the best possible AI-powered features within their devices. Similarly, a while ago, Realme announced a new feature named the AIGC Elimination feature that significantly removes unwanted objects from the picture. While here, you will get to know how this interesting AIGC elimination feature works.

Simultaneously, who doesn’t love to click pictures, but while clicking pictures, some unwanted objects come within the frame, resulting in an annoying situation that just destroys the picture? That’s where the AIGC elimination comes in handy, which is an AI-powered object removal feature that significantly removes an unwanted object or person from a picture by using some simple gesture, such as making a circle over the object that you wish to remove. 

In contrast, it’s important to note that, a while earlier, realme announced that the latest AIGC elimination feature is coming to the Chinese model, the realme GT5 Pro, but users were unable to use it due to some bugs. However, the issue has just been fixed as the brand releases the latest February 2024 security patch update in China to the realme GT5 Pro that comes with (CN01) version number, alongside several optimizations and improvements to system stability. 

How does the AIGC Elimination feature work?

With that, the AIGC elimination is an object removal feature that uses AI to remove unwanted objects from the images. Simultaneously, you can easily use the AIGC elimination feature on your GT5 Pro soon after updating the device to the latest February 2024 patch. Well, here are the steps for how you can use the AIGC elimination feature.

  • On your Gallery app, select the image from which you want to remove an unwanted object. 
  • Click on the Edit option.
  • Select the AIGC Elimination button.
  • Here, you can choose either the Smart Circle selection option or the manual application.
  • Finally, once you have highlighted the object you want to remove, it will automatically remove it from the picture.
