Will My Galaxy Device Get the Latest One UI 6.1 Update?

Samsung’s most innovative move that has significantly set some high-performance standards within the smartphone industry is the introduction of its latest update, One UI 6.1, which is the newest iteration of the custom Android skin. The brand raised the curtains over the new One UI 6.1 update that has arrived with plenty of amazing features and other important enhancements, of which the most significant highlight is the addition of the innovative Galaxy AI. Given that it’s quite natural that a large number of Galaxy phone users might be wondering whether their phones are eligible to receive the latest One UI 6.1 update or not,?

The arrival of the highly anticipated Galaxy One UI 6.1 update along with the Galaxy AI stole all the limelight, as the update is being infused with several new and advanced features that will significantly take the user’s Galaxy experience to the next level. Out of the box, the new One UI 6.1 update brings several impressive features and enhancements, along with some useful yet intuitive AI features in the form of the Galaxy AI. 

Samsung’s One UI 6.1 is infused with the Galaxy AI, to which the brand initially introduced it with its latest premium flagship Galaxy models, the Galaxy S24 series, this year under the hood. Simultaneously, initially the brand locked up the Galaxy AI features in its flagship S24 series, but later on expanded its reach to other eligible 2023 flagship Galaxy models, including the Galaxy S23 lineup, S23 FE, Z Fold5, and Z Flip5, certainly along with the Galaxy Tab S9 series as well. 

Millions of Galaxy One UI 6.1 eligible Galaxy owners have already taken advantage of the new Galaxy AI, which includes several interesting AI-powered features, including a new Circle to Search feature that offers a new way to search for everything and anything just by performing certain gestures. There’s also a Chat Assist feature, generative edit, live translation, interpreter, note assist, generative wallpaper, transcript assist, and more. 

Moreover, it’s important to note thatas of now, Samsung has revealed that the new Galaxy One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI is already made available to the above-mentioned eligible Galaxy phones, but for the matter of fact, it’s expected that the phones that received Android 14 will possibly get upgraded to the One UI 6.1 update; however, at the end, it’s all up to Samsung whether the brand plans to expand the One UI 6.1 to its other models, including the A/M series. 

In addition, except for the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, and the Galaxy Z Flip5, which have already received the Galaxy AI, it’s possible that other Galaxy models might not get the Galaxy AI along with the One UI 6.1 update.
