Google is releasing a custom bubble color with RCS background
Google is about to release a custom bubble color with an RCS background for its Google Massages. Even before this, Google made many changes in its apps, such as Gmail, to integrate with AI. Apart from this, AI conclusions will be included in Google Meet, Sheets and docks, etc.
It has given a hint through Google Cloud Next ‘24. Now, it is expected that from the end of November, Google Messages will gradually roll out custom bubbles that will completely change the colour and background theme of your RCS chats. These custom bubbles are currently in beta and have not been rolled out broadly.
Google has confirmed that you can choose any theme you want for the background and message bubble of conversations. For this, you will have to follow these steps –
For the personal contact
- Choose a contact name,
- Tap changes color.
For the group chat
- Group name,
- Tap changes color.
If you want to remove it, you can easily remove it by following these steps
- You have to first click on Delete chat with the selected theme and then start a new chat with the same content and tab on it. After this, you will get it removed from the chats.
It may come with nine colour options: blue, turquoise, purple, green, orange, fuchsia, pink, and monochrome. This theme you choose applies to almost everything on the screen, including your messages bubble, but not to text fields and voice recorder buttons, the dynamic colour theme works throughout the rest of the app. We hope to see it on all devices soon.
