OnePlus Pad Go is finally getting the OxygenOS 14 taste as Open Beta 1

OnePlus launched its impressive tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go in October, last year. The tablet arrived with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.2, out of the box along with several interesting features and functionalities. In contrast, OnePlus has rolled out its latest Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 to all of its its eligible devices, however, the OnePlus Pad Go was left to get the latest update, but now, the brand has begun rolling out the latest Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 in the form of first beta update to the OnePlus Pad Go in India.

The latest OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 is available for OnePlus Pad Go in India:

All the OnePlus phones have already received the taste of the new Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 update, however, lately, the OnePlus Pad Go is finally receiving the OxygenOS 14 in the form of Open Beta 1 in India. The latest build permits users to be first to experience all the new yet significant features and other improvements, which are offered by the OxygenOS 14.

According to the official changelog mentioned below, the latest Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 update brings some significant features to the system’s functionalities, including the getting all the information quick and at a glance, addition of the smart cutout feature, new additions within the upgraded Aquamorphic design, and several other improvements to system animations by making them smoother than before. 

In addition, the latest build has also added the flexibility to create photo collages without frames in Photos, added partial screenshot option in the smart sidebar, new app-specific volume feature is now accessible, and fuzzy search in the task bar, respectively. It’s important to note that in order to install the latest OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 build, users must ensure that their OnePlus Pad Go has been updated to the detectable build versions mentioned below:

  • OPD2304_13.2.0.421(EX01)

  • Adds Aqua Dynamics, a way of interacting with morphing forms that allows you to view up-to-date information at a glance.

Smart efficiency

  • Adds Smart Cutout, a feature that can separate multiple subjects in a photo from the background for copying or sharing.

  • Improves Shelf by adding more widget recommendations.

Aquamorphic Design

  • Adds Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamps the system notification sounds.
  • Improves system animations by making them even smoother.

System

  • You can now create photo collages without frames in Photos.
  • Adds a “Partial screenshot” option in the Smart Sidebar.
  • You can now try out the “app-specific volume” feature to adjust the volume for individual apps based on your needs.
  • You can now enter the first letter of an app name for a fuzzy search from the app library in the task bar.

How to apply?

Also, the OnePlus Pad Go users can apply for the latest Open Beta build during the time frame scheduled by the brand, beginning from 11th April. The application quota is limited to the first 5,000 users only.
