How to turn on and off the Circle to Search feature on a Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Samsung will release their handsets with Gemini AI features, and some new capabilities will be added to the new One UI 6.1. The company is now circulating a new statement about turning off some features. This feature is used to get information about anything by circling it, and this feature is available only on AI Limited devices where they would have Galaxy AI.

Circle To Search Feature

Some of the AI features on the Galaxy S24 series are powered by Google, along with a host of other great features. All these facilities are generally capable of working easily, even for search engines; this gives you the convenience that you do not need to type to search for anything.

Circle to Search can help you quickly identify items in a photo or video. To use it, first, you have to reach the circle to search for an option by pressing the home button for a long time. This helps you find images on the World Wide Web through Google Images.

With its help, you can access the official web and other information about anything. This feature can also be used through speech and search on Android phones with Google Assistant. According to this, this feature seems unnecessary, which is why the company seems to be thinking of discontinuing it.

Additionally, Google Assistant on devices that support Galaxy AI features on One UI 6.1 can be accessed by swiping up from the bottom right or bottom at the left corner of the display. To disable circle for search on One UI 6.1, you have to follow these steps –

  • Open the settings,
  • Scroll down and tab display
  • Select the navigation bar,
  • Use the toggle to turn off the circle to search.
  • Get the results surrounding your search.
