Samsung’s new Galaxy AI features to Arrive on Galaxy Note 9 and S9 series through a Custom Android ROM

Samsung officially ended its iconic Galaxy Note series with the arrival of the Galaxy Note 9, making the Note 9 phone to be the last device within the lineup. With that, now, the latest report significantly reveals that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 series are going to get the treat of the brand’s latest Galaxy AI features through a custom Android ROM. 

Noble ROM will bring the latest Galaxy AI features to Samsung’s older models

It’s been recently reported that Samsung’s older models, the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series, will be getting the latest Galaxy AI features through a Noble ROM. Meanwhile, the Noble ROM is a custom Android ROM, specially designed for the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 series, developed by AlexisXDA. With that, the Noble ROM 4.0 has significantly brought the latest Android 14 to these older Galaxy devices with the One UI 6.0 update.

Meanwhile, now it’s the Noble ROM 4.1 to make its way to the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series, which is said to bring Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features to these older devices through the new One UI 6.1 update. The Noble ROM developer, AlexisXDA, stated through X (Twitter) that the Noble ROM 4.1, along with the latest One UI 6.1 update, will be arriving to both the Galaxy models somewhere in May and will significantly bring along the innovative Galaxy AI to the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 series. 

Moreover, it’s impressive that the Galaxy Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 series will get the courtesy of Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features through the One UI 6.1 update, including Generative Edit, Live Translate, Interpreter, and the Circle to Search by Google. However, it’s going to be interesting to see whether the Galaxy AI will be working on these older devices, as nothing is official at this point because Samsung has not given any confirmation.
