OnePlus Wants To Keep Bloatware Apps In OnePlus 12 And Flagship Devices

Bloatware has always been a serious issue for several Android phones, especially when users are unable to remove it during the initial setup. Although certain Android brands have taken steps against it, OnePlus is on the way to infuse more bloatware onto its phones.

Some evidence significantly suggests that OnePlus’ models are being prepared to have more bloatware, especially on its flagships

Some latest evidence significantly hints at the arrival of more bloatware on the OnePlus phones. Meanwhile, according to the reports shared by Android Authority, some OnePlus 12 owners on X informed that they were unnecessarily greeted with a bunch of random applications, including Candy Crush Saga, Policy bazaar, LinkedIn, and more, popped up on the screen after installing the software update.

Meanwhile, this matter doesn’t pause there, as another user on X posted that while performing an initial setup process on its flagship phone, the OnePlus 12, noticed a new screen that offered suggestions to install some additional applications. However, the user further said it was strange behaviour, as no other OnePlus flagship has suggested such a thing before.

However, this evidence is more than enough to prove that OnePlus, which is highly known for manufacturing light smartphones, appears to be preparing to introduce more bloatware on its devices under the curtains, especially on its premium flagship models.

With more bloatware, the situation could get even worse

It’s important to note that more pre-loaded third-party applications(bloatware) have been spotted on the OnePlus devices, and this situation could take an even worse phase. However, OnePlus has a perfect chance to permanently withdraw with the plan of infusing more annoying bloatware onto its phones.
