HMD will launch its first smartphone in India named HMD Arrow; Could be rebrand of HMD Pulse

HMD is all set to launch its first HMD-branded smartphone globally, including in India. The brand has confirmed the device’s moniker through an official post. This upcoming HMD phone could be introduced as a rebranded version of the HMD Pulse, which was made available in Europe last month. At the same time, HMD Pulse can be launched in America as HMD Vibe.

HMD Arrow Could Be The Next Smartphone Of HMD To Launch In India

Last week, HMD India held a contest to moniker its first smartphone in India, asking users to suggest the names. This contest was launched on X with #HMDNameourSmartphone. With this strategy, the company made a lot of headlines.

However, the audience suggested names like Inhumanoid, Manbha, Naruto, BrahMos, and others in this competition. The brand chose Arrow; we learned about it from the Rajasthan Royals IPL team’s X handle, as the company has officially signed an agreement with the Rajasthan team as its smartphone partner.

HMD Arrow Expected Specs

On the other hand, the HMD Arrows will have specifications similar to those of the HMD Pulse. This upcoming device will run on Android 14 and feature a 6.65 inch LCD HD+ 720 x 1612 pixels, 600 nits peak brightness, and 90 Hz refresh rate. Octa-Core 12nm UniSoC T606 can be used for the chipset in the upcoming devices. There will be a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera. Moreover, it will likely have up to 128 GB of inbuilt storage and a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.

HMD Arrow Price

This device could be sold for EUR 140 in Europe and around Rs. 12,460 in India. It will be available in three colour options: Atmos Blue, Dreamy Pink, and Meteor Black. It is expected that this device will come with much better features.
