Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus and Note 9 users getting November 2020 update in the US

Samsung is pushing new security update for Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, and Galaxy Note 9 in the US on the Verizon network. And Note 9 Unlocked users are also receiving the update.

It cannot be denied that Security Updates are an important element in every smartphone. During its development, Samsung also often brings updates when it comes to security then it becomes a mandatory requirement for the company to fulfill users’ better experience.

Samsung releases the Android November 2020 security patch update for Galaxy S9 Series and Galaxy Note 9 users in the US. The update comes on Android 10 with the following software versions.

  • G960USQS8FTJ6- Galaxy S9 (Verizon)
  • G965USQS8FTJ6- Galaxy S9 Plus (Verizon)
  • N960USQS5FTJ6- Galaxy Note 9 (Verizon)
  • N960U1UEU5FTJ7 Galaxy Note 9 (US Unlocked)

If you won’t receive a software update notice. To update, you’ll need to either enable Wi-Fi and or Mobile Data to wait for the update notice to appear or manually update by going to Home > Application > Settings > About device > Software updates.
