OnePlus is almost done with the OxygenOS 13.1 software update for its flagship devices, including the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 10, OnePlus 9, and the OnePlus 8 series smartphones. On the flip side, OnePlus is currently busy developing the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 software, which will roll out several flagships as well as budget smartphones, starting with the OnePlus 11 smartphone later this year.
For quite some time now, in the Android platform, OEMs – including OnePlus – have provided three major Android updates and four years of security patches for their flagship smartphones and pads. So, here in this article, we are sharing the list of flagship devices that will receive their third and last major Android SO update, the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14.
On the other hand, last year, the company announced that selected flagship models starting in 2023 will receive four major Android OS and OxygenOS updates with five years of security patches. Through it, OnePlus aims to bring users longer-lasting and more stable intelligent experiences by continuing to build on OxygenOS.
Now, the OnePlus 11 is one of them that is eligible for four generations of Android updates. However, other OnePlus flagship devices only promised three years of Android OS updates. For some of them, Android 14 will be the third and last major release, after which they will only be installed to get security updates and a minor OxygenOS update, which is expected for OxygenOS 14.1.

On the other hand, some of the Nord lineup devices will receive their second and last major Android SO update, the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. Remember that the Nord devices that launched running Android 12 out of the box were eligible for two major Android updates, which will make version 14 their last and final stop.
