Chinese manufacturer OPPO launched three premium smartphones under the Reno8 series in China on May 23rd. The new lineup succeeds the Reno 7 series; these include the Oppo Reno 8, Oppo Reno 8 Pro, and Oppo Reno 8 Pro+. The three devices are expected to launch in India sometime next month. The Reno 8 Pro features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, launched a couple of days ago.

Oppo Reno 8 will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC starting with the vanilla model. The phone will support a 6.62 inch Full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will come in choices like 8 GB + 128 GB at ¥2499 (₹29,075 approx.), 8 GB RAM + 256 GB at ¥2699 (₹31,408 approx.) and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage at ¥2999 (₹34,901 approx.). The phone may weigh 179 grams and be about 7.67mm thick. The battery is a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. This model will be available in slightly drunk, clear sky blue, and night tour black.
The Reno 8 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The phone sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. It has a triple-camera setup on the back, and camera sensors are the same as the Pro+ model. You get a 50MP 1/1.56” main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. It will come in choices like 8 GB + 128 GB at ¥2999 (₹34,901 approx.), 8 GB + 256 GB at ¥3199 (₹37,230 approx.), and 12 GB + 256 GB at ¥3499 (₹40,726 approx.). It will have the same two colors as the vanilla model with a different shade of blue named encounter blue.
The Reno 8 Pro 5G.The Pro+ model of the series supports a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor. Oppo’s smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch Display that offers Full HD+ resolution and may come with a 120 Hz refresh rate like Reno 8, but we do not have any clear details. The device will come in only two storage choices like 8 GB RAM + 256 GB at ¥3699 (₹43,044 approx.) and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB at ¥3999 (₹46,519 approx.). The camera sensors are the same as the Pro model. The colors of this model will be Xiaoyaoqing, roaming gray, and undercurrent.
