Samsung Galaxy M01 picked up Android 12 and One UI 4.1 major update

Samsung started rolling the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 software update for the Galaxy M01 smartphone. The update comes with June 2022 security patch too.

The June security patch brought some system improvements and enhanced further apps, which are willing to perform on the device. There is also some other information which gives users a fruitful experience. It was released in India for Now and is coming soon in other regions.

The latest Android 12 carries a firmware version M015GXXU4VF6. This is the last OS update for the Galaxy M01 device. And the company will continually be sending Security patches in the upcoming months.

The new software update brings some enhanced Edge panels, which helps the device to improve the performance of displaying your five frequently used apps to access it at the moment. Also, it has an optimization in the ( PIP ) picture-in-picture resizable feature, which may provide smoothness and stability in making the PIP window bigger and smaller by resizing it.

These following features come with the latest One UI 4.1 skin:

Enhanced Edge panels: Keep your current app in view while using edge panels. Blurring has been removed to help you see more at once. Resizable picture-in-picture If a floating video is getting in the way, pinch your fingers together to make it smaller. Want to see more? Spread your fingers apart to make it bigger.

Quick access to pop-up window options For easier multitasking, you can pin the window options menu to the top of the window to make it easier to access. Some apps will need to be updated separately after the One UI Core 4.1 upgrade.
