Smartphone maker OnePlus is going to join the foldable market soon. The OnePlus foldable smartphone was initially teased at the OnePlus 11 launch event in February. Furthermore, the company has already trademarked OnePlus V Fold and V Flip with China’s National Intellectual Property Administration. According to reports, OnePlus is taking a different approach when naming (Moniker) its first foldable smartphone – OnePlus Open.
OnePlus Foldable Monikar – OnePlus One
Noted tipster Max Jambor shared on Twitter that OnePlus is preparing to launch its foldable phone with the OnePlus Open moniker. Also, he further claimed that the Chinese tech giant considered several other model names such as OnePlus Prime, OnePlus Peak, OnePlus Edge, and OnePlus Wing.
Apart from the OnePlus foldable moniker, the tipstate doesn’t reveal any other details on its launch, specifications, design and more. Still earlier, he also confirmed that the first foldable device from OnePlus could be launched in August 2023.

According to the previous report, OnePlu’s first foldable may come with a 7.8-inch foldable AMOLED display, a 6.3-inch AMOLED display on the outside, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, 4800mAh battery with 67W charging, 48MP triple-camera, and more.
