Google Could Release Android 14 Along With Pixel 8 Series

Android 14 has been developing for the last several months, and it has released five betas so far. At the start, Google assured the fan community that the stable version of Android 14 OS would take the platform in August, similar to last year with Android 13, but unfortunately, this did not come out right. And this happened because many of its betas went on being released, seeing as everyone has assumed the stable release would be coming in September.

If a post on the ‘X’, formerly Twitter, is to be believed, the well-known tipster @MishaalRahman shared a post that indicates that Android 14 has been delayed until next month. Unfortunately, it is too late to know this because OEMs have also assumed that the stable release for Android 14 would be done today. It is also mentioned in the post that the OEMs are now being told that all the security vulnerabilities detailed in the Android 14 will be published on October 4, 2023. So, it may be the new release date.

Noticeably, October 4, 2023, is the day Google’s Pixel 8 launch event will occur. And if this thing turns out to be correct, then it would be the first time that the AOSP launch has been pushed back to be compatible with the latest Pixel device launch. However, it’s not clear yet exactly why this delay happened. Things also have not been going well with Android 14 for the last few weeks.

It can be assumed that the company is delaying the release due to some internal bugs, which have not been solved or fixed yet. The brand has also released its fifth beta version for Android 14 but has yet to officially say why it is taking so long to release its stable performance. Let’s wait for October 4, whether it is released along with Pixel 8.
