WhatsApp Will Stop Working On These Devices From Next Week

Now, the messaging technology giant will stop working on smartphones with older versions of the operating system from October 24.

According to the information, from October 24, WhatsApp will stop working on many smartphones that are running relatively old versions of the operating system. It includes smartphones from Samsung, Google, Sony, LG, Huawei, Motorola, and other brands.

According to the WhatsApp support page, only Android OS version 5.0 and newer WhatsApp applications will be supported from October 24, 2023. This means that WhatsApp has admitted that it will stop supporting devices with Android OS versions less than 5.0.

According to the company, one of the oldest and least used smartphones will no longer support WhatsApp. Starting October 24, the messaging app will no longer work on some older Android and iPhone devices.
