Samsung started releasing its August 2023 security update, it has already rolled out for a few Galaxy devices, and now it’s turning to Galaxy Note 20 series. At the moment, this latest update is only available in China and Some Southeast European countries.
This latest August 2023 update arrives with its own identification build number for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. For Southeast European countries, the update has the N98xFXXS8HWH3 firmware version. Whereas in China, the latest August 2023 update has come with N98x0ZSS6HWG8 build code.
However, the company did not offer any new features or performance improvements with this August 2023 security update. This update is only a resolution for the security of the system; it will provide more safety and privacy to the users as compared to the previous version. So now the users will feel more secure by this update.
With this August 2023 security update, almost 85 security vulnerabilities get fixed. Which Google has fixed up to 50 security vulnerabilities applicable to all Android devices. Apart from this, the rest of the 35 gets fixed by Samsung, which is only useful for Galaxy devices. Moreover, all the bugs and known issues also get fixed with this update, which was present in the previous version and was causing trouble and interruption in users’ flawless experience.
Because of these fixes, the system’s fluent performance may be upgraded because nothing has come from the company in this update to improve device performance.
