Xiaomi MIUI 12

The new MIUI 12, which is Xiaomi’s own skin, brings many new features but that does not mean it comes based on Android 11.

Google has officially launched Android 11 and all brands are offering this update with a new version of custom UI for their devices. You may be aware that Xiaomi is already updating its UI to the new version every year, which is according to the number series.

If Xiaomi releases a new version of MIUI, it does not mean that your device will update to the new version of Android with that update, it just updates its own custom UI and not the Android version, as MIUI 12 update Android 10 arrived. Now the company has started rolling out the beta version of Android 11 for eligible devices, then it is also based on MIUI 12.

The company also started the MIUI 12 based Android 11 beta program for some smartphones, which brings many new features including new bubbles, built-in screen recording, one-time permissions, call screening support, improved 5G support, and more.
