Xiaomi has started sending a new firmware update includes January 2021 security patch for Redmi Note 7 Pro users. This is a minor update MIUI 12 based on Android 10, and the firmware package size is 262MB.
Unfortunately, the new update doesn’t bring any new software features or bug fixes to the phones apart from increased system security. The new software bears firmware version MIUI V12.0.5.0.QFHINXM for the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India.
You can manually check for it by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on the download and install option. Or you can also download the ROM given the link below.
