How to Turn Off Pocket Mode in a OnePlus Smartphone?

OnePlus, one of the most successful Chinese smartphone manufacturers, uses OxygenOS skin on top of Android, offering a slew of interesting features in order to provide a much better and smoother user experience. One such feature is the Pocket Mismatch Prevention mode. This feature turns off all the touch gestures while keeping your phone in your pocket. Here in this article, you will learn about how you can turn off or disable pocket mode on your OnePlus smartphones.

You might be pleased to know that the Pocket mode in the OnePlus phones is an amazing feature that disables all the audio output as well as touch gestures of the smartphone when it is placed in your pocket. The Pocket Mismatch Prevention feature helps to prevent accidental activation of any application that you are unaware of. It’s worth noting that Pocket mode has been removed from some of the OnePlus devices, but the brand has done the inclusion in its OnePlus smartphones with the OxygenOS 13.1 update.

The pocket mode uses a proximity sensor that automatically turns on when your smartphone is inside your pocket. Generally, pressing the power button or long-pressing the screen will turn off this mode. Although it is a most useful feature, you need to turn it off so that you can access all the audio outputs and touch gestures, which get deactivated while the pocket mode is kept on.
