[Changelog] Realme 6 Pro new update fixes, camera, calls, wireless with June 2021 patch on Realme UI 2.0

Realme is now rolling out new firmware for the Realme 6 Pro with a slew of the camera, call, wireless tweaks, and that all-important June 2021 security patch.

The second stable update since April — yes, April — C.17 is fairly long overdue, but it’s an important update for the affordable Realme 6 Pro device. We’re expecting a follow-up in the coming months. The security patch is available via a new firmware update that carries a firmware version number RMX2061_11_C17. The update is currently rolling out to Realme 6 Pro users in India on Android 11.

Besides the security patch, the firmware update brings fixes a screen flickering issue that would occasionally occur when you power off your phone, earphone audio issue that would occasionally occur when you are on a video call, issue where conference call would occasionally be unavailable, an issue where the incoming call ringtone, phone vibration and screen turning on could not be at the same pace sometimes, an issue where the screen would keep turning on and off when you put the phone close to your ear during calls after “Raise to wake” is turned on, an issue where the ringback tone would be unusually loud when you make phone calls using wired earphones.

Additionally, the latest update fixes an issue where the camera would occasionally crash when you change the zoom as well as an issue where saving too many Wi-Fi networks would cause the Settings app to crash and your phone volume would occasionally not be synced with your AirPods volume.
