OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro receive official stable Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update

OPPO continues to release the stable version of ColorOS 12 for mid-range devices such as F17 Pro, F19 Pro, A93, and A94. The Reno phones to receive the new OS versions are OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro in  India & Indonesia.

ColorOS 12 is based on Android 12 and comes with several new features and improvements. Elements in the interface have gained a new look, such as icons, panel settings, and system apps. For privacy-conscious users, there’s the Privacy Dashboard and microphone and camera indicators to know when both are on.

If you have an OPPO Reno4 and Reno4 Pro, please make sure your firmware is updated to version C.42/C.43/C.44 to receive the ColorOS 12 update notification. In the case of the Reno 4 & Reno 4 Pro, the firmware is F.07.

The Official Version is released, you can get it in 2 ways by the following steps:

  1. Click [Settings] – [Software Updates] – Detect the ColorOS 12 version and update
  2. For Official Version Users: Please make sure that you are updated to the latest official version of ColorOS 11.

As usual, updates are rolled out gradually. If you still haven’t received the notification, you can manually check your settings and software update. It is worth mentioning that ColorOS 12 stable is currently only available in India and Indonesia.
