Google Meet will now let users livestream their video meetings on YouTube

Google Meet is one of the most famous video communication platforms, however, it has several significant flaws. It only enables you to host meetings for up to 500 individuals at a time, and they must be part of your organization’s Workspace.

Whatever the reason for the limit, people have been requesting that it be increased or that Meet be streamed to another site. Google has already included the latter option in Meet and plans to add a YouTube Livestream later this year.

Google Meet conferences can now be streamed live on YouTube

Since the days of Skype, video conversations have been popular, but the epidemic has made them a daily need for many. The technology is now so common that practically everyone uses it – people for staying in touch with friends and family, corporations for conferencing, and online cooperation.

You may now reach audiences of up to 100,000 people on Meet using verified Google Workspace domains. Later this year, these webcast attendees will be able to engage in polls and Q&A sessions, according to Google.

Of course, not everyone attending a virtual Google Meet YouTube Livestream event will dwell on your Workspace domain, which makes the next announcement even more exciting. Google Meet will soon support direct YouTube broadcasting, and when it does, it will be available in the Activities tab.

Google also assures users of some significant updates in the security segment. Firstly, In May, the client-side encryption will be live in Meet and will leave the beta channel. It will be then followed by optional end-to-end encryption for all meetings in the upcoming months.

With a succession of recent update launches, Google has shown a lot of support for Meet. The platform’s connectivity with other Workspace apps including Docs, Sheets, and Slides is improving. Google has now also implemented emoji reactions, allowing you to communicate in meetings without being invasive.
