Samsung stopped monthly security updates for Galaxy A50 and Galaxy S10 series

Samsung has always maintained the regular month security patch updates for the Galaxy devices that was supposed to get it. The Galaxy S10 series will no longer be eligible for the monthly security patch updates. Instead, Samsung will now provide the security patch updates in a quarterly manner. The same thing goes for another crowd favorite model – the Galaxy A50! This mid-ranged phone received a great customer base after its launch in 2019!

But Sadly, just like the S10 series, the Galaxy A50 will also get the security patch updates in a quarterly basis. The Galaxy S10 series has been a hit since its launch. And the phone is currently running on the Android 12 based One UI 4.1 OS update. Though it did not run out of its allotted time to get security patch updates, it will just get them now in every three month.
