The Google Pixel Fold 2 surprised every user with its new features and amazing qualities. It will be launched in a few days and here is some new news about the phone. The company has developed the Google Pixel Fold Phone more than before, but they follow the same earlier designs.
On the other hand, changes have been made to the camera island, which will be similar to the iPhone’s camera island, unlike the old horizontal design of Pixel.
However, this will not change everything about the Pixel Fold 2, but as per the company’s 360-degree video, its specifications can be seen as follows. The Pixel Fold 2 is a stunning dark grey smartphone that can also be called charcoal finish. The screen measures 7.9 inches diagonally, while the measurement at the corners goes up to 8.1 inches.
A deeper look at the video reveals that the USB-C Port, speaker grill, microphone and SIM tray are placed on the bottom frame, while the power and volume buttons are on the right side. The handset also includes an antenna band and a secondary speaker grille. The dimensions of the phone are around 155.2×150.2×5.27 mm. There is also a possibility of this phone having an under-display camera.
Looking at the other side of the phone, the cover screen measures approximately 6.4 inches, while the number increases to 6.6 inches along the corners. On the other hand, when folded, the phone measures approximately 155.2×77.1×10.54 mm. This handset appears quite thin.
Regarding the camera, the pixel fold 2 will be included with a triple rear camera setup with multiple sensors, including two pill-shaped cutouts in the rectangular camera island on the back. Besides there is also a space for the LED Flashlight in it. The Flash module and a microphone are placed on the right side of these camera sensors.
Additionally, it is expected to be based on Android 14 with a Tensor G4 SoC chipset, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, but all these things are not confirmed yet. The company is also expected to launch this handset globally by June 27, 2024.
