WhatsApp is delivering a new update for iOS users. With this update, it is offering a new feature that permits the channel owners to invite new admins.

WhatsApp is rolling out the newest update, which has arrived with its own identification build number, v23.25.10.70, so users can easily download the update.

For now, the update is in the developing stage and is only available for some of the lucky beta testers. It is also expected that the brand will roll out this update widely soon.

With this update, the brand is offering the channel owners the ability to invite a new admin easily. This feature will appear within the channel information screen.

This feature allows channel owners to assign administrative privileges to selected contacts for their channels, alongside the flexibility to invite but only up to 15 contacts.

However, it’s worth noting that the designated contact must accept the invitation even before gaining administrative access to the channel.

In the scene where invites are accepted, they get the ability to make changes in essential channel details, which include the name, description, icon, and many more.

Basically, by this feature, the brand is just offering more power to the channel owners. Also, they can edit channel settings, controlling which emojis are permitted for reactions within the channel

As mentioned above, for now, it is in the developing stage and available for beta testers; as soon as possible, the brand will roll out widely. Interested ones can get this update easily through the TestFlight beta Program.
