OnePlus Nord series has created a separate fan following among the mid-range smartphone users who want high-end specifications in their smartphones with better build quality.
In the year 2021, adding to this, OnePlus released another sub-series in the Nord series, i.e., the OnePlus Nord CE series, with probably less value and tweaked specifications.
Nord CE (Core Edition) Series was launched to target the budget phone and mid-range users who want to experience and use the OnePlus smartphones but can’t afford them due to their price range. In this series, total to date, three smartphones are their:
- OnePlus Nord CE was released in the year 2021 with a 90Hz AMOLED display, 5G support, Snapdragon 750G processor, Fast charging 30W support and more.
- OnePlus Nord CE 2 was released in February 2022 with a triple rear camera, 90Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900 processor, 65W Fast charging support, out-of-the-box Android 11-based Oxygen, available in attracting Gray Mirror and Bahama Blue and more.
- OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite was released this year in the month of April and equipped with a 120Hz IPS LCD display, triple rear camera, Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G processor, 5000 mAh battery with Fast charging 33W support and more.
On 3rd August 2022, OnePlus organized a launch event for its upcoming flagship OnePlus 10T, and in that, it revealed the upcoming major update OxygenOS 13 features.

- Added hyper boost in Game space
- ZEN Mode
- Smart launcher
- Nearby share
- Side tool car for easy access and more.
On the other hand, the company official reveals in the disclaimer which smartphone will soon get the update after the release.
By following this, OnePlus Nord CE, OnePlus Nord CE 2 & OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite are eligible for the OxygenOS 13 Update. And probably according to the policy, OnePlus offers a two years major update and three years of security patch updates for its mid-range smartphones.
